The area is excellent for walking along the Rivers Severn and Wye, Malvern and Cotswold Hills and the Forest of Dean. The medieval town of Tewkesbury and the market towns of Ledbury, Newent and Ross on Wye are a short drive away. Cheltenham is the home to National Hunt Racing and a fine shopping centre.
